BEN GLEIB is a standup comedian, actor, and writer. A national headliner, ESQUIRE recently named him one of "SIX COMEDIANS WHO COULD BE COMEDY'S NEXT BIG THING." He's a regular on CHELSEA LATELY on E! He was just featured on NBC's LAST COMIC STANDING, and is known for his broad range, intelligent, high-energy performances, and quick wit. Gleib was also one of the stars of the NBC comedy THE REAL WEDDING CRASHERS. On the show he played multiple characters in each episode, and got the chance to display his talent for improvisation. He has performed on THE LATE LATE SHOW on CBS, and in 2006 released his first comedy album, titled "NOT AVAILABLE IN STORES."
No stranger to the internet, Gleib's online videos have received a total of more than TEN MILLION VIEWS. (And none of them are porn.)
In 2006 he sold a pilot called THE GLEIB SHOW to FOX produced by Saturday Night Live's Lorne Michaels and NBC/Universal. The show originally ran for 3 seasons as the #1 show on the National Lampoon Network, airing to millions of college students across the country. Gleib also can be seen in a supporting role in the feature film, "Bar Starz" a comedy starring Charlie Murphy.
A Los Angeles native, Gleib is one of the most versatile and unique voices in comedy today. He recently shot a pilot for BET called Get It In, a pilot for REELZ Channel called Down In Front, and a political satire pilot for 3 Ball Productions called CQC, for which he interviewed Barack Obama, John McCain, and Hillary and Bill Clinton. Always keeping busy, his other accomplishments include frequent appearances on NPR, and hosting shows for CURRENT TV.
