Jason Stuart is one of the country's top openly gay comics and prolific character actors. He has performed at the Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival and Town Hall Theater on Broadway to 100,000 at the Gay Rights Millennium March. He is now touring all over the United States with his stand up comedy show to sold-out crowds in all the colleges, mainstream comedy clubs, including the Laugh Factory, the Improv, and the Funny Bone Comedy Club and Restaurant, and all the major gay events and gay prides.
As an actor, he is best known for his groundbreaking role on My Wife and Kids starring Damon Wayans, playing a gay family therapist. Stuart has been seen all over television on Everybody Hates Chris, George Lopez, House M.D., Strong Medicine, Fat Actress, Will & Grace, The Drew Carey Show, Charmed, and Logo's Wisecrack. In films, he has been featured in A Day without a Mexican, HBO’s Gia with Angelina Jolie, Ghosts Never Sleep opposite Faye Dunaway, and in his first starring role in the award-winning romantic comedy 10 Attitudes, which he also co-produced.
Recently, he has had major supporting roles in the indie film Coffee Date with Jonathan Silverman and Wilson Cruz. He was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for the Glitter Awards, and was in Puff, Puff, Pass with Mekhi Phifer and Danny Masterson. He can be seen in the dark comedy Drop Dead Gorgeous, the drama Family of Four opposite Alexandra Paul, Twisted Faith opposite Elaine Hendrix, San Saba opposite Angus Macfadyen, and the comedy Ping Pong Playa. He is also proud to be the chairman of the first ever Screen Actors Guild LGBT Committee and the LifeWorks Mentoring Program.
