BIOGRAPHY
Jeff Cesario was born and raised in Wisconsin. He worked in music and sports journalism before taking a step up to the more stable arena of stand up comedy and show business.
He’s done
The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson,
The Tonight Show with Jay Leno,
Late Show with David Letterman, and many, many other shows. He’s done four of his own specials, including two on Showtime, one on HBO, and one on Comedy Central. He currently has a concert DVD out. He also cleans up nicely for the corporate crowd, including shows for IBM, Budweiser, American Express, and more.
Cesario helped launch
Dennis Miller Live for HBO, which he wrote on and executive produced. After two
Emmy Awards, he moved over to
The Larry Sanders Show as a writer/producer. He then wrote the Warner Bros. feature,
Jack Frost, and continues to do many rewrites and punch-ups on movie scripts.
Recently, he produced, wrote, and also directed field pieces on
Talkshow with Spike Feresten on Fox. He is currently executive producing and directing a pilot for Comedy Central called
The Bill Burr Show.
He’s fervently laying the groundwork to direct one of his own comedy features,
Instant Dad, in Minnesota. He recently finished the famed
Minnesota Stand Up Tour in Stillwater, Brainerd, and Duluth, dates for which most anyone in show business would kill.
He’s married and has his first child on the way, a baby girl, this Thanksgiving!
