HOLLYWOOD, CA– Charlie Hill, groundbreaking Native American comedian, needs your help in his battle against cancer. The Laugh Factory will be having a benefit show for Hill onThursday, December 19th at 8PM with Roseanne Barr, Jay Leno and Paul Rodriguez among others.
Hill has been battling lymphoma cancer for over a year: all proceeds from ticket sales and any additional donations help Hill's family take care of him at home and support themselves during this difficult time. His immediate family consists of his wife, two sons, two daughters and granddaughter.
In 1977, Charlie Hill made his television debut on The Richard Pryor Show. He was the first Native American to appear on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson where he was lauded for his unique point of view. Hill has appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Roseanne and many more talk shows and sitcoms. Jay Leno and Roseanne Barr will be coming together at the Laugh Factory on Thursday to support this comedic pioneer.
