Chicago Native Tom Dreesen to Present Live at Laugh Factory: “The Joy of Standup Comedy and How To Get There”

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, CHICAGO - Chicago's Laugh Factory comedy club and Facebook group "The Maxwell Method of Standup Comedy" proudly announce Chicagoarea (Harvey, IL) native and nationally acclaimed comedian Tom Dreesen will be presenting his popular seminar "The Joy of Standup Comedy and How to Get There".
The event will begin at 1pm on Saturday January 16th, 2016 at The Laugh Factory located at 3175 Broadway St. Chicago, IL 60657 and is designed for those in the entertainment field as stand ups, writers, producers, actors, or anyone who just simply wants to enjoy their journey in life. Admission will be FREE, but reservations are required due to limited seating availability.
Tom Dreesen Bio:
Comedian Tom Dreesen appeared on stage for the first time 47 years ago in Chicago Heights, IL. He has since made over 500 successful appearances on national television as a stand-up comedian including 61 appearances on The Tonight Show!  He was a favorite guest of David Letterman's and even hosted the show during David's absence. Tom is a consummate professional.

A regular in all the main showrooms in Las Vegas, Atlantic City and Reno for years, and for 14 years Tom toured the continent as the opening act for Frank Sinatra. He is currently touring the country with his highly acclaimed original one man show "An Evening of Laughter and Memories of Sinatra".
Tom is in constant demand from corporate America to serve as Master of Ceremonies, comedian or motivational speaker at their annual events. He brings his expertise to "The Joy of Standup Comedy and How to Get There".
