Amos Gill

Amos Gill is an Australian stand-up comedian, writer and broadcaster known for his sharp observational comedy, personal storytelling and distinctly Australian perspective.

Born in Adelaide, Gill began performing stand-up in 2010 through Australia’s prestigious RAW Comedy competition, reaching the State Final before becoming runner-up in the National Final in 2012. His early success led to nominations for Best Emerging Comedian and the People’s Choice Award at the Adelaide Fringe, followed by selection for the Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s Comedy Zone and a Best Newcomer nomination in 2014.

Gill subsequently built a career across stand-up, radio and television. He became a breakfast radio presenter in Adelaide and appeared on Australian television programmes including ABC3’s Wacky World Beaters, SBS’s The Full Brazilian and Channel 7’s FootyPlus.

In 2018, Gill left Australian breakfast radio to focus on stand-up in the United States. He has toured extensively with comedian Jim Jefferies, performing for audiences internationally while developing a style that combines candid personal material, cultural observations and provocative social commentary.

In 2025, Gill and Jefferies launched the podcast At This Moment, extending their long-running creative partnership into conversations about comedy, culture and current events.

With experience spanning Australian radio, television and the international stand-up circuit, Gill has established himself as a versatile performer whose comedy draws heavily from his own experiences while taking an irreverent look at the world around him.
