Tehran Von Ghasri

Half Iranian, half African American, and all amazing all the way around, Washington D.C. raised Los Angeles based comedian Tehran Von Ghasri is a comedy force of nature. Part Dave Chappelle and part Maz Jobrani, Tehran uses the stage as his personal soapbox, telling "truths" and sharing universally inclusive relatable stories only he is qualified to tell. Known for his quick wit, absurd punchlines, and comedic charm, Tehran has quickly become a Hollywood and International comedy favorite.

Born to an Iranian immigrant father and African American mother, being funny is in his blood. Being half Muslim, half Jewish, with other cultural backgrounds just adds fuel to Tehran's comedic fire. Known to frequent the stage in a bathrobe to be as comfortable as possible, his philosopher "talk to em" style comedy and crowd work captivates and entertains audiences across the globe.

A World Famous Laugh Factory favorite, Tehran has been featured on Comedy Central, Netflix, HBO & more. Find Tehran at his Laugh Factory residency Thursday nights 10pm, highlighting weekends, and on social media @iamtehran all across the board.
