You might know this comedian from…

Fizaa Dosani is an Indian-American stand-up comedian, actor, and writer who was born and raised in Florida before escaping to Los Angeles. If you want conventional, look elsewhere, because Fizaa is probably unlike anyone you've met. As a comic, she is an energy rollercoaster who serves her audiences kinetic, side-splitting hilarity. Unable to predict her next move, audience members have said they can't take their eyes off of her while she performs. She once made a man laugh so hard that he peed himself, a work hazard that she has since come to terms with. Fizaa has toured widely and performs on well-known stages around the world. She has also had roles in acclaimed movies and TV shows such as Dear White People (Netflix), How To Get Away With Murder (ABC), and Snowfall (FX). In 2017, Fizaa created Facial Recognition Comedy, a rapidly expanding comedy brand which is now a nationally touring stand-up show with bicoastal residencies in LA and NYC, as well as a weekly podcast of the same name, which she co-hosts. Facial Recognition Comedy was founded to combat tokenism while showcasing diversity within marginalized demographics, starting with her own: female-identifying comics of South Asian descent. In November 2018, Fizaa was named as an up-and-coming comedian by The New York Times in an article listing Facial Recognition Comedy as one of the top 5 shows they were most excited to see at the NY Comedy Festival. In December 2018, the legendary Russell Peters asked to guest-host that month's Los Angeles show. In January 2020, Fizaa performed with Facial Recognition Comedy at the SF Sketchfest for her third year in a row. The show has also been featured on the Daily Beast and Vulture's Splitsider.
