What's a Two-drink minimum?

Each guest is required to purchase at least two Laugh Factory beverage menu items during the show. Note that drinks may be alcoholic or nonalcoholic. This policy helps us pay comics for their talent and keep ticket prices low while ensuring a fun and lively atmosphere for everyone.

Please drink responsibly.

Do you serve food?

Yes, we offer a light and delicious menu that includes boneless wings, chips and salsa, chips and guacamole, pita with hummus and veggies, french fries, and more. Our attentive waitstaff will happily take your order and serve you during the show.

Do I have to order both items at the same time?

No, you can order your items anytime during the show but before our server offers a "last call." Just fulfill the "Two-drink minimum" requirement by the show's end.

Do you accept cash?

No, we do not accept cash for payment of tickets, beverages, or food.

What happens if I leave and forget to pay my bill?

We love serving you but don't like when our servers get stiffed. Patrons forgetting to settle a bill will be charged their total amount with an added 18% gratuity

What is your COVID-19 protocol?

We do not require masks or proof of vaccination for entry. However, we welcome facemasks if they make you comfortable. Please be mindful of others and wash your hands often or use hand sanitizer.

What's your cancellation policy?

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds should you be unable to attend. However, we understand that sometimes plans change or things come up unexpectedly. So, if you contact us in person or by phone 24 hours before the day of your ticketed event, we will work to transfer your tickets to a future regular program, pending availability and some exclusions. This policy lets us offer your spot to another guest and helps us plan accordingly. Please note that we limit ticket transfers to once per ticket order.

What if I need to cancel my reservation within 24 hours of the showtime?

Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds in these circumstances.

What happens if the club needs to cancel a show?

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a show, we will do our best to notify you as soon as possible. We will offer you the option to reschedule your reservation for another night or receive a refund.

What if I arrive late for the show?

Latecomers are seated at the house manager's discretion and may be subject to standing room.

What's your refund policy?

Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds. All sales are final, except in rare circumstances when the club may need to cancel the show

What are the parking options?

Street parking is available throughout the area. However, public transit, ridesharing apps, and taxi services are highly encouraged.

Do you sell tickets at the door?

While we always try to accommodate everyone, we can't guarantee tickets will be available at the door. Your best assurance is to buy advance tickets online to secure your attendance.

Are cameras, photos, or recordings allowed?

Please take all the pictures you want before the show, but once it's started, we prohibit personal cameras, selfie sticks, and other production equipment during the show. We also prohibit cell phone calls and video or audio recordings.

Small bags (maximum size 12?x12?), single-compartment bags, plush bags, and purses are permitted. All bags are subject to search upon entry

What happens if we show up late?

Guests are allowed into our showroom until 30 minutes after the show begins. We stop seating 30 minutes into the show to prevent any disruption to the performers. No exceptions and no refunds.

Are service animals allowed?

ADA Service animals are only allowed. No pets or emotional support animals are allowed. Thank you for understanding.

Is there a dress code?

We believe in creating a fun and relaxed environment for our patrons, and we want you to feel comfortable while you're here. Accordingly, we do have a few guidelines for our dress code:

Wear clothes. We don't care what kind of clothes you wear, so long as you're wearing some. No birthday suits are allowed (unless it's your birthday, and even then, please keep it covered).

No offensive or derogatory clothing. We're all about free speech and expression, but we want to keep things respectful and appropriate. Leave the offensive t-shirts and hats at home.

When do new show dates become available?

We publish show line-ups and events several times per week. If you want to know more about upcoming or special events, join our email list by clicking here.

What is the 'Open Mic' show that I see on your schedule?

Our Open Mic event is an opportunity for aspiring comedians to take the stage and showcase their talents. It's an open invitation for anyone to perform, regardless of experience level. Three of our locations (Hollywood, San Diego, and Chicago) offer Open Mic events.

How does an Open Mic event work?

In Chicago, a professional comedian hosts Open Mic, introducing each comic hopeful. The first 10 names drawn from our bucket get a 3-minute set, all others will participate in a random draw for a spot on next week's mic. Tickets are without charge to any visitor.

Can anyone sign up to perform at an Open Mic event?

Yes! Anyone is welcome to sign up to perform at our Open Mic events. Just arrive at 7:00 PM to enter our bucket draw and potentially receive a spot on the mic!

Do I need a prepared act to perform at an Open Mic event?

Not necessarily! Some performers have a prepared routine, while others prefer improvising or trying out new material. It's all about having fun and being creative! Who knows what next comic star could make their way to our regular line-ups?

When is Laugh Factory Chicago's Open Mic held? What about the other locations?

Chicago: Tuesday at 9:15 PM. Doors open at 9:00 PM. See our Open Mic information page for more information and other Open Mic location schedules

Do you rent your space for special events, fundraisers, or private parties?

We do! Send an email to info@laughfactory.com with as many details as possible about your event, including when you want it to happen and what type of event you wish to host, and a member of our team will get back to you at their earliest opportunity

Please send an email and professional resume to: info@laughfactory.com

Okay, I'm not a comedian, but I am really funny. Where do I start in comedy?
