A California native, Amberia's interest in comedy piqued in high school, where she performed in humorous interpretation competitions as a member of her high school's speech and debate team. Amberia is currently pursuing her career in comedy in Los Angeles, CA. Her comedic perspective draws on her experiences as an emerging PhD, a newlywed, and small town girl navigating life in Hollywood. Amberia is the 2014 Comedy Wings Competition Winner and appears on a season of Aspire TV's We Got Next. She was also the co-host of BET's The Xperiment.
