You might know this comedian from…
Bob Kubota began his career as a stand-up comic while he was a student of journalism at Arizona State University. His penchant for dry wit, lighthearted sarcasm and deciphering life’s ironies has led him to the majority of the contiguous 48 states as well as Alaska and Hawaii. The sly take that he has on his own ethnicity continually proves to be a popular feature of his act. In 1996, he performed on his first USO Tour of war-torn Bosnia, and now travels regularly with Armed Forces Entertainment (AFE) and other entertainment companies providing comic relief to American military troops stationed around the globe. He has appeared on MTV and Comedy Central. In April 2014, he was voted Arizona’s Funniest Comedian in a state-wide competition sponsored by the Tempe Improv & Stand-Up Live (Phoenix) comedy clubs.
