Dawn Sesta started doing stand-up in January 2017 when an ex told her she was exceptional but also one of the most narcissistic people he’s ever met. This felt like a call to the stage. She’s from North Carolina, but moved around a lot as a child hence her fear of commitment. She’s performed at Flappers, Comedy Store, and Laugh Factory. She’s been called “hilarious!” by her mom, and called “funny, but where’d you learn to talk like that?” by the person who taught her, her dad. Her brother just never calls.
