Starting out in the L.A. club scene with comedian pal Steve Martin, Johnston has opened for superstars such as as Kenny Loggins, Willie Nelson, Kevin Nealon and Robin Williams. He was the winner of The Big Laff Off, and has appeared on The Tonight Show and Late Night with David Letterman.
