Donald McKinley Glover is an American actor, writer, comedian, and rapper, best known for his work in the sketch group Derrick Comedy, the NBC series Community and the FX series Atlanta, which won a Golden Globe for “Best Series” in 2017, with Glover also winning “Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series.” His first stand-up special aired on Comedy Central in 2010. Acting credits include Spider-Man: Homecoming, The Martian, Solo: A Star Wars Story and more. He also provided the voice for Simba in the 2019 remake of The Lion King. As the rapper Childish Gambino, he has released numerous Grammy-nominated projects. In 2017, Glover was named among Time Magazine’s “100 Most Influential People in the World.”
