Gracie Lane was born in Lexington, Massachusetts. She began acting at age 8 when her grandmother introduced her and her sisters to Priscilla Beach Theater in Plymouth, MA, where she returned to the stage every summer for eight years. In the following summers, she attended Boston University's Summer Theater Institute and Yale University's Summer Acting Techniques. After graduating high school, Gracie moved to Los Angeles to attend UCLA, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Theater in 2010. In 2013, Gracie served as Executive Producer on the short series, Platonic, in which she also starred, and has continued producing other independent projects since then.
