Real Doctor of the Soul...

Comedy bios are really hard to write without sounding like every other comedy bio. I do want to point out however... that despite other comics who "keep an audience laughing from the moment they step foot on stage to when they step off stage" I believe that this practice is not upheld by the Geneva convention and could easily classify as torture. An hour of STRAIGHT laughter would be excruciating and I would not wish it on my worst enemy... much less to an entire audience that PAID to see me. I, however, keep you laughing a very comfortable amount at a comfortable pace that is the most enjoyable without making you feel like a prisoner of war. Here are some un-hyped facts about my career that I think are noteworthy rather than a grab bag of platitudes. I have been performing stand-up comedy for eight years and I have performed as an emcee, feature, and headliner. I have been in multiple comedy contests that have all agreed that I am either semi-final or final level comic... but to say that comedy is a measurable thing that can be judged in a contest form is kind of like saying... that you can measure who loves who the most, or who feels the most regret, or who experiences true happiness. Comedy, like my relationship with pastries, is complex. I keep trying to prove something here, when I should be bragging! I love performing stand-up comedy for all audiences, and the folks that work at all of the following clubs will tell you that this is very evident from my performance and reaction of those audiences. My material is accessible yet intelligent. It is the obvious overlooked in a complex situation. An examination of why we make the choices we do and say the things we say.
