JJLT has come a long way from his modest beginnings. He is a born leader graduating high school with honors and being an Eagle Scout. JJLT started sleeping on his parent’s living room couch after turning his bedroom into a warehouse for his successful e-commerce business. Even with his success as an entrepreneur, his father encouraged him to be a nurse, while his heart was into being an entrepreneur and holding impromptu performances for his family and friends which inspired a move to Los Angeles.

JJLT’s stage appearances began as a motivational speaker on a life-coaching circuit with big names like Gary Vaynerchuck, Eric Thomas, and others. He gradually developed a following - performing at schools and corporate events across the nation. Blessed with the ability to connect with his audiences, he naturally transition his stage presence into comedy. 

JJLT’s stand-up comedy is a mixture of storytelling, parodies, and characters. His effervescent and animated style has made him popular among all ages. In 2016, Adam Sandler brought JJLT onstage and gave him the mic - he received a standing ovation. His infectious, explosive energy onstage, insightful jokes, and family-inspired humor cross all boundaries. 

Even with his busy schedule as a screenwriter, songwriter, filmmaker, and entrepreneur, JJLT has been dedicating his free time to producing his shows and selling out clubs across the nation. A firm believer in service and giving back to the community, JJLT’s earnings from comedy go directly to various causes helping homelessness in Los Angeles and across the country.
