Jonah is an exciting new voice in LA's comedy world. Originally from Hawaii, Jonah moved to LA unsure of what his future would hold. First, he pursued opportunities in the indie music world, but soon discovered that his true passion lay in writing and performing comedy.
Jonah started as a writer's assistant for "The Andy Milonakis Show." The job was a disaster, but he got notice for his creative contributions to the writing staff which led to him getting fired from his office post and immediately re-hired as a writer for season two.
After "Milonakis," he wrote and performed for SHOWTIME's sketch-comedy pilot "The Offensive Show." Since then, Jonah has been making a name for himself on the hot alternative comedy scene of LA, becoming a frequent sketch and stand-up performer at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater, as well as being a recurring performer for several Comedy Central shows like "Crossballs," "Last Laugh" "Live at Gotham," and "Jimmy Kimmel Live." Fans of Jonah's include Bart Coleman of Comedy Central, and comedy geniuses like Laura Kightlinger and Sarah Silverman, who cast Jonah in the pilot for her Comedy Central series, "The Sarah Silverman Show."
