Mary E. Kennedy, a Boston native, recurs on NBC’s ER as Officer Trudy Lange. She co-stars in the feature film Creative Differences due out in February 2008. She was also a finalist for The Comedy Festival's talent search in Aspen, sponsored by HBO. Her comedy has been seen on Comedy Central, Spike, and the USA Network. She just recently hosted the new reality show pilot Breaking In for Spike and played an Ugly Betty type for VH1’s pilot, American Ugly.

She featured for the show Gender Blender at the Improv and toured with Mom’s Night Out, a comedy show that is performed by Moms for Moms. In addition, she was the warm up comic for the new game show, Who’s King of the Water Cooler at the Ontario Improv and has appeared at the Comedy Store. She was featured and headlined for Rascals Comedy Club, Bonkerz Comedy Club in Orlando, Florida, Rooster T. Feathers in Sunnyvale, California, and for corporate events around the country. In New York City, she appeared at Caroline's, the Comic Strip, Gotham Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club, and Stand Up NY. Her credits also include the Comedy Studio in Boston, Massacusetts, Rascals Comedy Club in Phoenix, Arizona, Zanies Comedy Club in Chicago, Illinois, the Comedy Connection in Portland, Maine, Potawatomi Bingo Casino in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and the Punchline in San Francisco, California.

She has been showcased in the Bud Light Ladies of Laughter contest, Hamptons Comedy Festival, Boston Comedy Festival, and at the California Funniest Female Contest. Her one-woman show, Calls from the Purse, made its debut at the 15 Minutes of FEM competition at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood and has been showcased at the Whitefire, Zephyr Theatre, and Road Theatre in Los Angeles.
