You might know this comedian from…
Born and raised in Mobile, Alabama, Mary Patterson (that’s a double-name, y’all) has been thrilling the masses since her starring role in the elementary school classic, Crosspatch and Cupid. With just the right combination of charm and cynicism, this stand-up comedian entertains crowds at clubs, colleges, casinos, cruise ships and United States military bases all over the world. She has appeared on nationally syndicated radio’s The Bob & Tom Show and has been invited to participate in numerous festivals including SF Sketchfest, Moontower Comedy Festival, Laughing Skull Festival, Bridgetown Comedy Festival, San Luis Obispo Comedy Festival and Women In Comedy Festival. Broome has written for for WE TV, the Comedy Time network and www.afterpartychat.com. She is also the co-host of Homeo and Juliet, a podcast with fellow comedian and writer, Jason Romaine. She is [miraculously] a graduate of Wake Forest University and writes about her life from the perspective of a white girl from a nice family on her blog, www.uppermiddleclassangst.com.
