Rene’ Valdiviezo is a comedian, writer, and songwriter (GossipStructure) based in Chicago, IL by way of Mexico. Growing up in Illinois in the 90’s with the name Rene’ created a necessary and expected journey to the comedy stages. Always obsessed with stand up comedy as a consumer, He officially started his path to comedy via Second City and comedy writing courses at Rock Valley and Columbia College. Simultaneously, He honed how to perform for various rooms from many years performing as a front man for several bands. ??

Rene’ is one of the producers of Highly Recommended at Laugh Factory Chicago and runs other independent shows such as Soiree and Squadville. He has been featured in Red Eye Chicago and the Columbia Chronicle. Rene’s work has also won him the midwest Remy Martin Pour Your Passions competition. ?? His comedic style is purposely absurd jokes that build tension and bait you with relativity… just to sweep your legs when you feel you have your footing on where he is going. Rene’ views comedy as verbal magic tricks- some are safe for kids wonderment and some will make adults cover their eyes and lose sleep…and Rene’ has tricks ready for every audience per se.
