You might know this comedian from…

Young rising star Tré Williamson is the missing element of the future of stand-up comedy and acting. Surprisingly enough this supreme and rare package is delivered to the stage profanity free and clear of all inappropriate subject matter; making his stage show viewable for all ages, cultures and ethnicities. His resumé has a massively wide range from comedian, dancer, singer, video game character, and actor.

Virtually unheard of in this generation of entertainment, Tré’s voice is as powerful as his presence taking on topics relevant and relatable, driven to inspire, empower and change the world through laughter. Growing up in his hometown of Birmingham, Alabama, as the youngest of four brothers, he was an exceptional child. At only five years old, Williamson would watch films and mimic whatever and whomever he saw. This has contributed to his immense ability to do over 75 spot-on celebrity impersonations and original characters. Ms. Hollman, one of his high school teachers, once stated that Tré can look at someone and in five minutes become them.

Tré has put on explosive performances as a stand-up comedian on BET’s ComicView, where he was voted the hottest new comedian of the year and on Bill Bellamy’s Who’s Got Jokes. Tré has also featured for countless comedy stars including Kevin Hart, Mike Epps, Monique, Tom Arnold, Tracey Morgan and Tommy Davidson. He has performed at theatres and universities to audiences of over 4,000 and sold out 500 seaters on his name alone plus been featured at virtually every well-known comedy club chain in the country (e.g., world famous The Comedy Store, the legendary Laugh Factory and The Hollywood Improv).

His dramatic performances are also riveting and memorable as he has displayed in guest roles on a host of television shows like Grey’s Anatomy, FX’s The Shield, BBC America’s new series Torchwood, TNT’s Franklin & Bash and ABC’s Private Practice. Williamson’s received critical acclaim both nationally and internationally for his 2005 performance in the E! Channel’s re-enactment of the Michael Jackson trial. His performance created such a buzz that he was interviewed on NBC’s Access Hollywood.

Tré is also featured in the video game Saints Row: The Third as Zimos and has traveled the country greeting fans of the video game, signed autographs, and even been interviewed by FOX and the G4 Network. He also just wrapped on the independent film, The Scam, where he plays computer hacker Figaro. Williamson is no stranger to the big screen. After only being in Los Angeles for three weeks, he did the impossible and landed a speaking role in a feature film, Tears of a Clown, which marked his feature film debut. Many small film roles and projects immediately followed.

Williamson went on to book ten nationally televised commercials, three of which were his very first commercial auditions. Adding more confirmation to his already promising career, one day Tré was at a television taping for Byron Allen’s Comedy.TV. After 12 hours of persistance, he asked Byron Allen, himself, for the mic to tell a joke. Mr. Allen had no idea of what was going to happen next. Tré not only told a joke, he put on a full fledge performance and when he was done everyone rose to their feet! Mr. Allen took the mic and announced that Williamson would be on the next taping of his TV show—merely as a confirmation of what is to come from the energy that is Tré Williamson.
