Vik Pandya is a nationally touring stand up comic based in Chicago. Known for his sharp self-deprecation, observational humor on dating, & hilarious crowd work, he's opened for both Roy Wood Jr. & Michelle Wolf and performs regularly at Zanies Comedy Club & The Laugh Factory in Chicago. He was a 2017 StandUp NBC Quarterfinalist, and was featured in NBC's Breakout Comedy Festival in 2018. He's shared the stage with mainstream headliners such as: Godfrey, Dan Soder, Big Jay Oakerson - as well as international acts like Vir Das, Zakir Khan & Atul Khatri.
Vik is a founding member of ‘Team Us Comedy’, who since 2015 have been producing shows that fully represent the hilarious comedy community in Chicago - full of women, people of color, and plenty of differing opinions. In 2018, Team Us filmed their first independent standup special titled ‘Friends With 401(k) Benefits’ (now available on iTunes).
In addition to standup, Vik's improv group 'I'm a Turtle' can be seen performing all over Chicago & at festivals around the country. (Chicago Improv Festival, Denver Improv Festival, The Big DIF Festival in Iowa, Joshua Tree Int'l Festival). He's also on a house team at The Comedy Clubhouse in Chicago and performs there regularly.
His comedy dating podcast 'MasterDating' was one of the Chicago Podcast Festivals' official selections, and can be found on iTunes and SoundCloud.
Vik made his acting debut in 2017 as a lead in the critically acclaimed web series ‘Code-Switched’, A comedy-drama about a group of South Asian-Americans juggling love, work, and family in Chicago.
