Wendy Liebman started her career as a performer in the basement of her house in Roslyn in Long Island, New York, where she, her sister, and her neighborhood friend put on the play Rumpelstiltskin.
Liebman majored in psychology at Wellesley College and soon after became a therapist. However, Liebman has been performing stand up comedy for 20 years. In 2003, she married Jeffrey C. Sherman and became a stepmom to two amazing boys.
