Destined to be a comedian, Wiley Edwards was born in Houston, Texas. Throughout his childhood, Wiley was known as the outspoken kid who loved telling jokes. During his senior year of high school, Wiley was voted "Mr. Westbury", "Best Dancer," and "The Most Funniest Classmate."
After graduating high school, Wiley attended Texas Southern University majoring in Business Management. While in school, Wiley started his own Tow Truck Company where he would test his comedy material out on his employees. One day on the job, Wiley was shot at point blank range but was not struck, and it was all caught on tape.
As faith would have it, one night, Wiley made a pit stop at a local bar called Sherlocks in Houston, Texas. They were having Open Mic Night for new comedians. Wiley hit the stage that night for the first time, not knowing that his performance would launch his career as a comedian. Soon enough, Wiley was given invitations to perform at the Improv and other local clubs in Houston.
Wiley moved to Los Angeles, CA to further his career as a comedian. Wiley's career took off fast. He performed weekly in local comedy clubs throughout CA, landing him the opportunity to have his own show at the world famous Laugh Factory every wednesday night in Los Angeles.
One of his most rewarding accomplishments was landing his first major cameo in Kevin Hart's Let Me Explain. He has appeared on shows and networks such as CBS, TV ONE, BET Comic View 2014, and NBC. He's also recieved the Robin Harris Rising Star Award. Wiley currently is working on his on sitcom & Netflix special Come Be Apart of The Next Big Thing!
