 Ashley Barnhill has become known for her dark and compact one-liners. This past July she was selected for Just for Laugh's New Faces of 2015. She has also been touring the nation with Dave Chappelle and Marc Maron. You can catch her on this year's Funny or Die's Oddball Comedy Festival. She's also performed at festivals such as SXSW, Moontower and Bridgetown. Splitsider named her one of The Next Wave of 2015's: Up-and-Coming Comics in Los Angeles. Also, a filmmaker, Ashley has written, directed and acted in many of her own shorts that have been front-page featured on Funny or Die and Huffington Post. She wrote, produced and acted in the sketch "#blessed," which the Huffington Post referred to as "a twisted take on daily affirmations." It was also an official selection of Chicago's Gold Coast Film Festival and a finalist in Funny or Die and Los Angeles Film Festival's Make 'Em LAFF contest. She recently released the sketch Where Do You Want To Eat. Ashley is also a Top 10 Finalist in Ben Affleck and Matt Damon's Project Greenlight. The Top 10 represent 0.2% of the 5,000+ submissions. The docu-series will air on HBO in September. Ashley has studied sketch and improv at the UCB and is trained in the Meisner Technique. She recently guest-starred IFC's Maron and you can catch her on the upcoming season on Comedy Central's Drunk History in September.
