You might know this comedian from…

Brooklyn Jones grew up in Brooklyn, New York. With a singer for a mom, a songwriter for a grandfather and a playwright for a grandmother, she always knew she would be in the entertainment field. A two-time winner on BET’s 106th & Park, she initially started out as a rapper performing all over the underground scene. Even in her lyrics you could not deny her comedic edge, as many times people would crack up and point out the funny lyrics as she rapped. Growing up in public school, she was always the class clown and was told all through life that she should be a comedian. In 2013, she finally listened to all of the voices in her ear and tried stand-up, loved it and has had a passion for comedy ever since. Being sure not to abandon her musical roots, she has incorporated music and hip-hop into her comedy by doing parodies such as her Beyonce and Jay Z “Drunk In Love” parody “Chunky Love” which has reached over 500,000 views and counting, and her most recent Iggy Azalea “Fancy” parody entitled “Lazy” which is following in the footsteps of “Chunky Love” with over 30,000 views. Brooklyn has been honing her comedic skills performing all over the New York City area and headlined her first show at New York Comedy Club in 2013. She relocated to California and decided to bring her New York flavor to the West Coast. In 2016, Brooklyn became a recurring guest star for two seasons on the Oprah Winfrey Network’s Flex & Shanice show. You can also catch her stand-up on season 2 of UMC's The Comedy Underground Series and making guest appearances on TruTV's Laff Mobb's Laff Tracks. Most recently she created her own web show called Petty Court, where she rules as a judge presiding over petty cases too small for small claim's court.
