Dan Levy
After enrolling in Emerson College in Boston, Dan Levy began performing at open mics and other strange venues, where people were more focused on their beer than what the wannabe comics were saying. As a sophomore in college, Levy was chosen to compete at HBO's The Comedy Festival in Aspen, Colorado, where he won the title of “Funniest College Comedian.” Since then, he has been seen at the Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival numerous times and has made television appearances on Comedy Central's Premium Blend, The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn, and Chelsea Lately, where he is a regular guest on the roundtable. Levy has toured internationally with Aziz Ansari and John Mulaney and has a comedy album, Congrats on Your Success, released on Comedy Central Records. As a host, he has worked on four MTV shows, including Spring Break 2008: Pretty Smart, his own talk show for College Humor called The I Have to Go in a Minute Show, and Red Bull Flugtag: On the Wings of Glory. As a writer and producer, Levy has written scripts for MTV, Fox, NBC, Sony, and a movie for ABC Family called Stoked: The Band. He shot the pilot My Long Distance Relationship for MTV, based on his popular web series for Sony's www.crackle.com. In late 2009, Levy began working in reality television, when he created and served as executive producer of E!'s reality series, Pretty Wild. Since then, he has developed another series for E!, as well as a pilot for WE tv. Levy lives in Los Angeles, where he is writing more television shows and collecting more sneakers. His wife would like him to stop with the sneakers.
