Kris Flanagan is a 30-year-old comedian and actor from Houston Texas who has called Chicago home for the past 6 years.

Certain social road bumps greeted Kris as a small boy entering the world. Being a pre-pubescent introvert from a lower financial class didn’t prove to be as easy to overcome in the public school system as most would think. Humor became a defense mechanism that helped him dodge most issues until puberty brought him the height and confidence he long desired. Eventually he decided to take his newfound arrogance to the stage where he was humbled by immediate failure and learned about modesty and the respect for the comedians around him.

A desire to avoid manual labor motivated him to accomplish many things including graduating college, joining the corporate ranks and then bailing on everyone to chase a financially unstable pipe-dream. His comedy has been described as anything from endearing to unsympathetic to offensive. All the way around he’s a pretty nice guy that just wants to make you laugh, assuming you don’t mind.
