Open Mic starts at 6:30pm on Tuesdays. Sign up is at 5:00pm. Signing up grants you a spot on the following Tuesday's open mic (not the day you sign up). Keep in mind that we only accept the first 15 in line and comics usually line up hours before the sign up time.

Open Mic starts at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesdays. Sign up is at 6:00 p.m. sharp. We will accept comics for that evening’s set until all spots are full. After that, signing up grants you a spot on the following Wednesday’s open mic. Comics usually line-up at least one hour prior to the sign up time.

You are only allowed to perform open mic once every four weeks at the Laugh Factory. If your 2-3 minute open mic performance goes well, you will move on to showcase. Showcasers perform for six minutes and are not restricted to G-rated material. Showcasers can move on to become a Laugh Factory regular. Sorry, but we do not accept hardcopy submissions in place of open mic or showcase performances.
