Bobcat Goldthwait
Bobcat Goldthwait in an American actor, writer, and director best known for his role in the film Police Academy 2, and the comedy television series, Goldthwait: Is He Always Like That. He adopted the stage name ‘Bobcat’ while performing at an open-mic night along with comedian Barry Crimmins when he was in high school. He began stand-up comedy professionally around the age of 15. He developed his own unique combination of political satire and black comedy and that became his trademark, along with high-pitched voice. He also became famous for some of his bizarre appearances like rappelling down nude from a catwalk at the Oakland Coliseum and burning the chair of a guest on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. He has hosted his own comedy quiz, Bobcat’s Big Ass Show. He has written and directed God Bless America and Willow Creek.
